Alfonso Ribeiro is remaining hopeful that he and his dance partner, Witney Carson, would still be able to compete in the semi-finals of "Dancing with the Stars" season 19. The "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" actor reportedly pulled his back during rehearsals this week.
Ribeiro updated his fans on Saturday, Nov. 15, tweeting, "Hey #TeamWitfonso thanks 4 all the love. I'm working really hard to be able to dance Monday. Keep the prayers coming. Love you all."

In the previous week, they danced foxtrot to Robbie Williams' "Ain't That a Kick in the Head?" for which they received 37 points out of 40, and then did a paso doble routine to DJ Snake & Lil Jon's "Turn Down for What" which garnered them a perfect score. For the Plugged/ Unplugged Week this coming Monday, they will reportedly tango and do a contemporary dance.
Carson also took to Twitter to give fans an update, saying, "Thank you #TeamWitfonso for all the love. @alfonso_ribeiros back is better but still in pain... We are staying positive."
