"Dance Moms'" Maddie Ziegler has long been a subject of rumors, particularly about her presence in the show. However, a new report suggests that the young dancer may finally be back in the series.
In a spoilers site dedicated to "Dance Moms," there are details of the competition that the girls from Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) had attended. These events are said to be featured for season 6 of the show.
It can be noted that Ziegler is mostly absent in the competitions, and this is because of her other project, the filming of "The Book of Henry," a film by Colin Trevorrow. Recently, however, a fan uploaded a video with Ziegler in it on Instagram, suggesting that the 13-year-old reality TV star is back with the ALDC.
The spoilers site also noted that Ziegler just finished filming for her upcoming movie and so she was present at ALDC's latest competition. Since she will no longer spend time filming, she should be able to focus more on dancing with the girls for the whole season.
The latest performance attended by the ALDC girls was the Sheer Talent competition held in Phoenix last Saturday, Nov. 21, as indicated in the spoilers site. This performance should be part of season 6's seventh episode.
The group danced to "Well Oiled Machine" and it won first place. Brynn Rumfallo took the stage as the solo performer to the music "Mystic Beauty." Rumfallo's performance won first for the pre-teen lyrical category. Kalani Hilliker's solo contemporary dance to "Wild Thing/Wild One," also won first place, while Kendall Vertes' solo jazz to the tune of "Curiosity" won second in the pre-teen division.
With Ziegler spotted, fans should be delighted to finally see her back on stage and with the girls.
"Dance Moms" season 6 is set to premiere on Jan. 5, 2016. However, there were reports that season 6 will be the show's last.
Realty Today reported that the show has faced several issues that fans believe it's headed for cancellation.
