"Final Fantasy XV's" multiplayer downloadable content expansion (DLC) "Comrades" was originally going to be released this Halloween 2017, however, "Comrades" has been pushed back, and is now set to be released on Nov. 15 instead.
Originally, it was announced that the DLC would be coming sometime in November and no specific dates were given. However, the Nov. 6 announcement on Final Fantasy XV's Twitter account has confirmed the date for excited fans everywhere. The wait is almost over and "Comrades" will be available on Nov. 15 for those who want to play "Final Fantasy XV" online and with their friends or other fans of the game.
According to another Twitter post from the "Final Fantasy XV" twitter account, the game was pushed back "Due to final adjustments & to create the best possible experience." The developers didn't say more or go into details about what needed to be adjusted or fixed, but they made it clear that they wanted the game to be the best version of itself it could be. Final adjustments would ensure that fans would be getting something polished and up to par with everyone's expectations instead of something glitch-ridden and in need of constant update patches.
"Comrades" is an expansion pack that takes place after events of the main campaign's 13th chapter. Prince Noctis is unavailable due to a spirit journey and it is up to players to keep the peace in Kingsglaive. Players will have the option to create their own characters and customize them with unique origins, weapons, and abilities. The player can team up with others as the royal police hands out tasks. There are plenty of quests to finish and plenty of monsters to slay, and this time, players will be able to team up with other people as they go about these tasks.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
