CM Punk News: WWE champ to return? Rumored wife AJ Lee reportedly pregnant

On June 20, Fansided broke the news that AJ Lee of WWE Divas and former WWE Champion CM Punk are expecting a child. This is probably why Lee hasn't been seen in the WWE for the past two months, which got many people wondering. His last appearance was on April 17 on "Monday Night Raw."

According to Fansided, a WWE insider named MetsFan4Ever revealed the information, saying "I have gotten word from a reliable source that AJ Lee is pregnant. I am looking more into this story and can't confirm yet. But I figured I would share this story here first with you fans. We may not be seeing AJ for a very long time or ever again if this is true."

This news came a week after the rumor that CM Punk and Lee had a secret wedding. Cage Sided Seats reported, "Apparently AJ Lee may be pregnant and that's why plans haven't been made for her to return to WWE television. She married CM Punk on June 13 and is all moved in with him in Chicago, but now word making the rounds is they are settling down to have a family."

Despite the rumors, there has been no official announcement coming from CM Punk and Lee. They haven't confirmed the marriage and the pregnancy news. But what most WWE fans want to know now is if CM Punk will come back to the WWE. There have been rumors going around that he would, now that The Rock also came back to the WWE.

CM Punk resigned from the WWE in January when the show scripted Barista to win the "Royal Rumble."

There have been many signs pointing to CM Punk not returning to the WWE soon.

For one, he will be a new father of a newborn baby. Next, he seems happy with his retirement. Also, CM Punk needs to heal his aching body, according to Examiner.

CM Punk's contract with the WWE will expire next month too. And if the WWE doesn't renew this contract, fans will probably see CM Punk in other promotions, if he does make a career comeback.
