The announcement of Supercell, the publisher of "Clash of Clans," of a major update to be released this May has fueled several speculations about the game. The release of game leaks have since fanned the flames.

A leaked video, shared on Reddit, is said to be the teaser trailer for the upcoming May update of "Clash of Clans." Some users have since translated the dialogue. According to them, the characters, who are shown sitting on the seashore, talk about what is on the other side of the sea, with them each coming up with their own ideas about this. At the end, the Boar enters the scene riding a boat. This video has led some to wonder if a "Boom Beach" style of gameplay will be introduced in the game. The official "Clash of Clans" Twitter account has since released the English version of the trailer.

Before the video, an image was also leaked via Reddit, although it was said to have originated from China. The image featured Chinese text, which some translators said referred to a second village. This could mean that players may be seeing a multi-village mode in "Clash of Clans," which only previously allowed players to manage one village at a time.

Another speculation is the possibility of the game developers including a "Shipwreck" function in the game, which was already talked about by players last year because of another set of leaks, as reported by iDigitalTimes. Given that a boat was featured on both video and image leaks, it is likely that the sea vessel will be featured in some way in the update, although it remains to be seen if it really will be via a shipwreck, as was previously rumored.

No date has been given yet on when the update will be available.
