Chelsea come into this weekend's fixtures with a nine point lead over Manchester City, but Jose Mourinho still believes that City are the favorites to win the title this season.

City did manage to gain a solid 2-0 win earlier on Saturday against Hull despite having a player sent off. That moves City to within 6 points of Chelsea and with two games in hand.

Chelsea will be desperate to restore their nine point advantage this afternoon and keep the pressure on the chasing pack.

In team news, Villa will not be able to play left-back Ryan Bertrand, who is on loan from Chelsea – that makes him ineligible for today's match up. That means Joe Bennett or Antonio Luna are likely to step in.

For Chelsea, defenders David Luiz and Ashley Cole both remain out injured and will not play a part in today's game.

The Blues are in hot form in the Premier League; going 14 games unbeaten, and have the best defense in the league, conceding only five goals over that period.

Chelsea have won the last four EPL games between these teams, putting 16 goals past Villa over that run. Villa have only won once in their last five games against Chelsea at Villa Park, and that was way back in October 2009.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa will kick off at 5.30 p.m. GMT and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
