Chelsea vs Aston Villa takes place in the English Premier League on Wednesday night, with the Blues looking to build on their good win they achieved in their opening day game. However, Aston Villa also proved that teams should not underestimate them, and they came away with a good 3-1 win against Arsenal at the Emirates on the opening day of the season.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa kicks off at 7.45 p.m. BST (2.45 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

Rumors ahead of the game have suggested that Blues boss Jose Mourinho may rotate his squad for this Villa game. Chelsea have an early season face off with Manchester United on Monday, and some have suggested that he will look to rest some key players to ensure they are fit for that game.

However, Villa's excellent performance against the Gunners at the weekend may make him think twice, and he may indeed opt to at least start with his best side to try and get a lead and then take some key players off if and when a comfortable lead is established.

Leaving out any key players and losing this match would completely undermine a tactic to focus on the United game next week, and Mourinho will surely want to ensure he takes nothing for granted and looks to maintain an early season push for the top of the table.

Last season in the corresponding fixture, Chelsea achieved a club record 8-0 win against Villa, however, that will have little bearing on today's game, with Villa looking much more settled and confident in themselves.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa kicks off at 7.45 p.m. BST (2.45 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
