The highly anticipated Zombie mode for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is expected to be put on full display at this year's Comic-Con.

News of the much-talked about part of the game finally getting its due time in the spotlight was revealed by the game's developer, Treyarch.

According to IGN, Zombie mode director Jason Blundell will be the one headlining the panel at Comic-Con.

Also expected at Comic-Con for the proceedings will be the actors lending their voices to the characters in the game. The specific actors set to be part of the Comic-Con panel remain unknown for now, but Treyarch has dubbed the panel as a "star-studded" cast.

Fans who make the trip to San Diego just to see the panel will also receive zombie-themed giveaways exclusive to Comic-Con. They will also be given the opportunity to try out the Black Ops III Zombies Escape Room Challenge. While participating in the challenge, players will need to work together to successfully interpret the clues and find a way out of the room before time expires.

Treyarch is also expected to reveal more about the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Collector's Editions" at Comic-Con.

In related news, with a few months to go before the official release of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," fans can learn more about the game through the upcoming comic book series based on it, according to Gamespot.

The comic book series of comics, which Dark Horse will publish, will be the official prequel to the game, and it will be focused on the story of a group of technologically-enhanced soldiers making their way through Uzbekistan as they attempt to locate a double agent. Free copies of the comic book will be handed out at Comic-Con.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be officially released for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and the PC on November 6.
