MMA and Boxing 2015 news: Floyd Mayweather wishes Ronda Rousey all the best

The undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. may have written the final chapter of his feud with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey in a recent interview.

In a video posted by Fight Hub TV powered by SB Nation, Mayweather was surrounded by reporters, as he was being asked questions about his future bout against Andre Berto and the up and coming fighters in his stable.

Towards the end of the video, Mayweather spoke good words regarding Rousey, whom he had a battle of words with in the past few weeks.

"Like I said before, I don't really know too much about Ronda Rousey. Even before, I think they got upset because I thought Ronda Rousey ... you know, I didn't know who that was. So, whoever, whoever ... she is ... because before, I didn't know who she was, you know? I wish her nothing but the best. Good luck with everything," Mayweather stated.

Rousey reignited the issue of Mayweather not knowing her when she won this year's ESPY for the Best Fighter of the Year.

The 28-year-old UFC champion said she wanted to know how Mayweather felt being beaten by a woman for once and pretend not to know her.

Rousey believes Mayweather knew her since they were both nominees for the same award in 2014.

In an interview last year, Mayweather addressed Rousey as a "he" and just recently acknowledged her and apologized in the press conference for his fight against Berto.

Recently, in a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) chat, Rousey was asked if she could beat Mayweather in a no rules fight and she confidently answered yes.

Meanwhile, Mayweather retaliated during his appearance at SportsCenter, saying he has yet to know any mixed martial artist or boxer who made more than $300 million in 36 minutes; and if Rousey does that, she could give him a call.

But it looks like the feud between these two will cool down now after Mayweather wished Rousey all the best; although it is likely that she would respond to her verbal rival's recent statements.
