'Bloodborne' DLC: New weapons, enemies in 'Old Hunters' expansion detailed

 Official PlayStation Blog

"Bloodborne" players will have a lot of new things to look forward to coming courtesy of "The Old Hunters" expansion pack.

Starting off with one new foe that will be angling to make the players' lives more difficult in the game, fans should be on the lookout for a new adversary who goes by the name of Brador.

Brador can seem at first like an unassuming figure inside the game, with only his ominous choice of head gear serving as the only possible indicator that he could pose any threat. However, once Brador draws his Bell Axe, players should beware, as they will quickly learn that he is among the fiercest combatants they will encounter not just in "The Old Hunters" expansion, but also across the whole world of "Bloodborne," according to the official PlayStation Blog.

At least two new weapons will also be made available to players inside "Bloodborne" via "The Old Hunters" expansion.

The first new weapon is known as the Bloodletter. What makes the Bloodletter unique is that it first requires the player to use it on himself before its true potential can be revealed.

The second new weapon, known as the Gatling Gun, is more straightforward. The Gatling Gun is great for raining down punishment against a group of enemies, although players should use it judiciously given how many bullets it consumes.

Another new item for players to look forward to from "The Old Hunters" is the rune known as The Beast's Embrace, according to Gamespot.

Players who will use The Beast's Embrace will take on the form of a monstrous creature whose attacks are made even stronger by beastly weapons.

These are just some of the new game elements that players will find in "The Old Hunters" expansion for "Bloodborne," and they will also be able to enjoy it soon, as it will formally launch on Nov. 24.
