'Batman vs Superman' movie cast update: Jason Momoa as Aquaman

A rumor for the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie circulated, saying that Aquaman will appear in the movie. It seemed like he wasn't pleased with the World Engine and what it did to the fishes. And now he is surfacing and will show his displeasure about what happened.

Fans of the movie like the idea of seeing Aquaman in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." But more importantly, we'd all like to see someone who will be perfectly cast as Aquaman too.

According to Comicbook.com, the rumors started at Motor City Comic Con, when Jason Momoa was asked the question if he will be in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." The actor was quite annoyed and even joked with the audience about how annoyed he was.

Momoa was in "Game of Thrones" as Khal Drogo and was also in "Conan." There's still no official word about him being cast for the role, but the rumors are looking to be true.

When Momoa was asked if there is any truth that he will be in the "Man of Steel" sequel, he replied: "What does everything tell you? No. Stop asking me. It's so annoying. Sorry, you're not annoying." When Momoa noticed that a media guy was the one who asked him, he joked "Oh you're the press? Get the f*** out of here. Here, put this in there -- you're a d***, you're a d***. You're not a d***, I'm just playing." The crowd laughed with him.

Later on, Momoa voluntarily shared with the crowd what he believed started that rumor. He said, "You know what, I think it started when people said 'What superhero would you play?' And I'd say Batman and Superman, they'd be awesome together. Then people were like, 'He's in Batman vs. Superman!' I'm like, I really like Lobo. 'HE'S LOBO!!' And then some asshole was like 'He's Aquaman!' And I'm like - what did you just call me? Where the f*** do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously.. And then it shows up on the internet. Not that it's a bad rumor."

While Momoa sounded very convincing that he won't have any part in the movie, IBT reports differently. IBT says that "Momoa will play a minor role as Aquaman... his appearance in the movie will set him to return once Zack Snyder gets to 'Justice League.'"

What do you think? Will Jason Momoa make for a perfect Aquaman?
