It is already expected that Asus will be announcing the new ZenFone 3 at the end of the month. However, this did not stop leaks from circulating online, with the latest detailing the supposed full specs of one of the ZenFone 3 models before their May 30 launch.

A benchmark listing on GFXBench features an Asus device with model number Z016D. In the listing, it is confirmed that the ZenFone 3 will come out with a 5.5-inch screen (listed as 13.8 cm on the website) that displays 1920 x 1080 resolution. In addition, the benchmark site reveals that the next ZenFone flagship will have Qualcomm chipsets, as the Z016D lists a Snapdragon 820 processor as its core. Previous ZenFone iterations made use of Intel and MediaTek processors. However, Asus has previously announced that it will be switching to Qualcomm chipsets for the ZenFone 3.

The top-tier Snapdragon 820 processor is paired with 4GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, other details on the specs for the ZenFone 3 are also listed on the benchmark site. There are at least three confirmed iterations on the new ZenFone lineup, and whichever the Z016D is, it will come with a 128GB onboard storage, a 21MP main camera at the back capable of 4K video capture, and an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. The model will also come out with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 right out of the box.

This is not the first time that the specs for the ZenFone 3 have been leaked, as apparent leaks circulated as early as last month. There are also supposed renders and images of what the ZenFone 3 will look like once it is released by next month.

As for its official unveiling, the ZenFone 3 is the expected focus of the Asus presentation at the Computex 2016.
