The personal computer (PC) version of the first entry of the trilogy game "Ash of Gods" titled "Ash of Gods: Redemption," which is developed and published by Cyprus-based game studio AurumDust, is scheduled to release on Steam on Mar. 23. Meanwhile, Russian company Buka Entertainment will publish the game for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Nintendo Switch and Xbox One later this year.

The news was announced via Steam Community on Mar. 8.

According to the Steam page of the game, "Ash of Gods: Redemption" is a turn-based role-playing game (RPG) that combines tactical combat and collectible card game (CCG) elements. The game's story, which was written by the award-winning fantasy author Sergey Malitsky, revolves around the end of 700 years of peace in the land named Terminum. The reapers have come returned with the intention of drowning the world in blood to awaken the sleeping gods.

Players take on the role of three separate protagonists in the game. The storyline of the game is continuously progressing in response to the choices made by players. There will be no random dice rolls to determine the force of a blow; instead, players must master their class skills and utilize their cards' powers.

Aside from the player-versus-player (PvP) multiplayer mode, the game also features a player-versus-environment (PvE) multiplayer mode wherein the game's artificial intelligence (AI) is designed to adapt to players' styles of play to guarantee a challenging experience throughout the course of the game. It is worth mentioning that "Ash of Gods" grants rewards for players who are willing to take the risks of more dangerous routes or battles.
