'Arrow' Season 3 premiere date October 8, spoilers: Blue Beetle, Oliver and Felicity, Laurel joins the group

With just a few months away from the season 3 premiere of "Arrow," more and more spoilers start to surface. There are speculations that there will be a new villain and new hero on board. What about Oliver and Felicity? And how will the group take it now that Laurel knows their secret?

TV Line shared some juicy details about the new villains in "Arrow" season 3. Rumors are confirmed that Oliver Queen will have a possible friend in this new superhero. His name is "Daniel" and he will be part of the recurring cast in the third season. "Daniel" is also rumored to be Ted Kord or The Blue Beetle, since the descriptions from the book suits him.

He is in his 20s, handsome and loves groundbreaking technology. Because of his fondness of tech, he will be a tech-powered superhero. Not only will he be fighting for that superhero spot in Darling City, he will also fight for Felicity's heart, to which Oliver will gladly fight for both.

TV Line also gave a sneak peek at the new villain who goes by the name of Seth. Seth is a smart criminal who happens to love chemistry. He makes a drug that will drain the willpower of his enemies. Seth has the brains and the brawns too, which makes him a good physical match for Arrow.

Moving forward to Oliver and Felicity, Stephen Amell shared to CelebTV about what will go on in this love affair. "I'll tell you what — whether or not that was a ruse, a bait-and-switch, he really meant it — we're gonna find out very early on in Season 3 if he actually meant it," he said, commenting on Felicity's new love affair and whether Oliver will get jealous.

Now, what about Laurel finding out the truth and joining the gang? Laurel is taking over her sister's role as the Black Canary, rumors say. Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg told IGN: "It totally changes everyone's dynamic, having Laurel in on the secret. She has become so much more. Look, I don't think it's any big surprise that we're struggled in places with Laurel as a character — through no fault of Katie Cassidy, who plays her wonderfully and does everything we ask of her — but ever since she found out, it's just changed the dynamic, and it's made the show a lot more fun and enjoyable to write."

Kreisberg continued "So her storyline in the finale is much closer tied to her father and Sarah. But especially going into Season 3, there's a much more different dynamic in the group. It's really fun to see."

Further, Kreisberg described the characters in season 3 on a general note, saying: "Each and every one of them over the course of next season will be making that journey. For some people, it's a dark journey. For other people, it's a lighter journey. For some people it's becoming their comic book characters. In other cases, it's actually definitively not."

"Arrow" season 3 will be back October 8 this year.
