It is said that third-party tech makers are ready to roll out their own Android Nougat update. Speculations suggest that the first devices to get the update are the flagships from Samsung.

According to NeuroGadget, the South Korea-based tech giant has already started its beta program for the new Android platform, and the said platform may have already been at the final stages of testing. Reportedly, a beta version is already live for the Galaxy Note 5, meaning that beta testers have now gathered enough feedback to build the final version. However, it remains unclear if the same beta version will need global testing since the tests have only been rolled out to Galaxy Note 5 devices in South Korea and China.

Meanwhile, since the beta version is already live to the Galaxy Note 5, it is expected that other flagships will soon follow. This means users of other Samsung flagships, like the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6, will also get the Android Nougat 7.0 platform soon. Previously, Samsung has already announced that a roadmap schedule has been established, with the Android Nougat 7.0 coming out to Samsung flagships before the year ends.

Although Samsung has yet to announce specific release dates for its planned Android Nougat rollout, it is likely that the new update will come out either later this month or in early November. Samsung will want to be at the same pace — if not ahead — of its competitors. Some tech makers like Sony Mobile and HTC have previously declared an Android Nougat update by October. Even LG already has an Android Nougat-powered flagship when it recently launched the LG V20.

In addition, an Android 7.0 platform is already expected at this point in time, since Google is already at work for a major 7.1 update. In fact, Google's own flagships, the Pixel and Pixel XL, launched with the major Android 7.1 update already on board.
