For those who have a sweet tooth, worry no more because Android 5.0 Lollipop is coming very soon. Lollipop is said to be the greatest version of the Google mobile operating system. And the better news is that all major Android devices will get the Lollipop sooner than expected.

But before the update schedule, here's why Android 5.0 is believed to be the best Android OS yet. According to Tech Times, the Lollipop has adapted a flat appearance and there is now a more unified look for all Google services, including the smartphones and tablet versions. "Material Design" is what Google named its new design language.

Additionally, the Lollipop also features an improved notification system. And there's the Android multitasking UI. There are now 3D cards that can be cycled by the user. Further, Lollipop features a do-not-disturb feature wherein the user can schedule the device on silent mode at specific times during the day.

The battery life usage of the OS has improved, too. Google calls it "Project Volta" and users can now monitor their battery consumption.

So, when is Android 5.0 coming? Those who have the Nexus 6 phablet or the Nexus 4 or 5 will get the Android 5.0 this November.

For the first- and second-generation of  Moto X and Moto G, the Moto G with 3G LTE, Droid Mini, Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx, Motorola said the new OS will be available in the near future.

For the Samsung Note 3 and Galaxy S4 and Note 4, it is rumored to be available "very soon." HTC confirmed on Twitter that the Lollipop will be available on HTC One M8, One M7, One Mini, One Mini 2, One Max, One E8, One E8 Eye, within 90 days.

As for Sony's Xperia, here's what Sony had to say about the release of Lollipop: "We'll be making Sony Mobile's Android 'L' upgrade available for the entire premium Z series: including Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3v, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition devices will be first up -- we'll be back with more details on that soon. We'll start the upgrade at beginning of 2015 for the core Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series -- continuing thereafter for all remaining devices above."
