Acer Aspire R 14 and Aspire Z3-700 price and specs: Two new PCs launched

Acer just released two of its newest Windows 10 PCs, the Aspire R 14 notebook and the Aspire Z3-700.

Acer announced at a press conference in Taipei on Monday two of its latest notebooks that uses the features of Windows 10.

The Aspire R 14 boast of its ability to turn the screen 360 degrees with the use of its dual-torque hinge. The screen is 14-inch in size and can be used as a laptop or a tablet. It performs fast online, using its MU-MIMO and can be upgraded using a USB 3.1 with Type-C connector. The pc weighs 1.58kg and is 1.85cm thick. The R 14 has an 8GB RAM in solid state drives.

The Aspire Z3-700 is perfect for both productivity and entertainment. It can be used as a notebook with a keyboard or function as a tablet. It has a 17.3-inch HD display with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. It weighs 2 kilograms and comes with a stylus. The device can either run with Intel Pentium or Celeron processors. It has an available memory of 8GB which can either be in solid state or a traditional hard disk. The Aspire Z3-700 is said to be able to last up to 5 hours of use. It also has a kickstand for additional support.

Since both machines uses Windows 10, users can take advantage of the many features that is integrated with the service. The Aspire R 14 and Aspire Z3-700 also features an optimized audio quality brought about by Cortana, a voice assistant. It also has BluelightShield technology, that is perfect for extended use because it lessens the blue light computers screens emit.

The Aspire Z3-700 will be available in EMEA by the end of next year and will be sold at $681. The Aspire R 14 will be available in the Unites States in late October and will be sold at a starting price of $699.
