YouTube sensation almost had an abortion before Bible verse became a wake up call

YouTube sensation Kimberly Henderson from South Carolina found fame online because of a viral video of herself singing beautifully to her daughter Vaida Everly, and this moment almost wouldn't have happened if she had proceeded with an abortion when she was 16 years old.

The Daily Wire revisited the post that Henderson shared on social media, where she revealed how the Bible became her wake up call. Henderson contemplated an abortion after learning that her boyfriend had cheated on her.

"I prayed God would stop and give me a sign, give me the strength to get up and walk out of here," Henderson said.

She cried and agonized about her predicament at the clinic for at least seven hours. But just as she was about to go through with the procedure and present her driver's license, Henderson pulled something else out from her wallet.

A couple she waited on at work had left a card on the table, which she kept. It had the name of a church and a Bible verse -- Isaiah 41:10: "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Henderson knew right there that this was the sign she asked from God. So, instead of proceeding with the abortion, she walked out of the door at the clinic.

The singer regards Vaida, whose name means "beautiful life," as a testimony that, "God doesn't make mistakes." Walking out of that abortion clinic after hearing God's words gave her huge relief, even if she had to go through the pregnancy by herself. After her video with Vaida went viral, Henderson received an offer to record "Tiny Hearts," which spoke of a mother's love for her child, in partnership with Cosco Kids.

Today, she has five beautiful children and regularly shares their photos online as they are growing up. Henderson is also still singing and writing songs and people still post on her social media pages to tell her how much she inspired them because she decided to keep her child.
