Microsoft will take part of the "Star Wars" celebration if their free games for Xbox Live Games with Gold members are any indication.

Microsoft seems to go all out for May 4, which is unofficially considered as "Star Wars" Day. The two free games for Xbox 360 are both "Star Wars" titles. "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II," will be available for free from May 1 to 15. In this title, players will take on the role of a clone of Starkiller, an apprentice of Darth Vader, who goes on a path to redemption.

Meanwhile, "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga," can be downloaded for free on May 6 to 31. This is the game version of the first six movies of the "Star Wars" saga. Players who are anticipating the release of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" and "Star Wars Battlefront II" can download this game as part of getting ready for the film and the game.

Owing to the backward compatibility feature, both titles can also be played on the Xbox One. Players of this console can also download "Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris" from May 16 to 15. This title follows up the story of "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light." In this title, Lara will need to team up with rival Carter Bell, as well as Egyptian gods Isis and Osiris, to defeat the evil god Set.

The other game that Xbox One players can get for free is "Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director's Cut," which is available for the whole month of May. This title is a puzzle platformer, where players will play as Giana, a girl who is out to rescue her sister, Maria, who was abducted by a dragon. Originally released in 1987, it was later reimagined for the Nintendo DS via a Kickstarter campaign, according to Mirror.

The availability of free games monthly is one of the perks offered to Xbox Live Games with Gold members.
