Given that this is now the third week of April, some have begun making predictions on what will be the free games that will be offered to Xbox Games with Gold members for May.

ThisGenGaming released its free games forecast for the month of May. The biggest title on its list is "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," an Xbox 360 title which, incidentally, has just been made backward compatible for Xbox One. This title has two settings: the first Cold War, as well as a fictional second Cold War. While the majority of free games offered on Xbox Games with Gold are produced by indie companies, there are occasionally big titles available through this as well. As such, this title is just as likely to be offered as the other games on this list.

Also on the list is "Dishonored: Definitive Edition," which follows the story of Corvo Attano, who escaped from prison to seek vengeance against those who framed him for a crime he did not commit. He ends up rescuing Emily, the daughter of the empress he supposedly killed.

Also included is "Forza Motorsport 5," a racing game. The featured tracks in this title those in Europe and America.

The last game forecasted to be offered for free is "South Park: The Stick of Truth." This is a role-playing game wherein gamers can choose to play as a kid who just moved into town and who finds himself/herself in the middle of a war between humans and supernatural beings over the Stick of Truth.

Microsoft has yet to release a statement on what titles will be officially released for free for Xbox Games with Gold members in May. It also has not disclosed yet when these titles will be available for download. The free games for April were "Ryse: Son of Rome," "The Walking Dead: Season 2," "Darksiders," and "Assassin's Creed Revelations."

Four games are offered for free for Xbox Games with Gold members every month: two for Xbox One players and two for Xbox 360 gamers.
