Just days away from WWE SummerSlam 2014, many are making their predictions for the matches lined-up. SummerSlam 2014 is one of the biggest WWE events of the year and it is heavily promoted for its championship matches, including the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Brock Lesnar and John Cena.
Lesnar shocked the world when he defeated the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30, which ended the Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania. This is a good follow-up for Lesnar's story, trying to prove that he still got what it takes by defeating Cena.
Here are the predictions for the WWE SummerSlam 2014 confirmed matches:
Brock Lesvar vs John Cena
The main event of the night will be for the company's biggest title. This is probably the biggest fights of the year too. With all the promotion going around for Lesnar, it is highly like that the former MMA Heavyweight Champion will win. However, considering that he will only be a part-time wrestler, it's a case for Cena to take home the belt.
Stephanie McMahon vs Brie Bella
It's not only that Stephanie is the daughter of WWE's owner, Vince McMahon, Stephanie is predicted to win this match and Nikki Bella might help her do that. After all, Stephanie does like winning by hook or by crook.
Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns
Randy Orton's last big PPV fight was the Elimination Chamber, while Roman Reigns have been doing pretty well. In this fight, Reigns may win as momentum is on his side and Orton may continue his losing streak.
Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose
This Lumberjack match could go both ways, but Seth Rollins is favored to win this one.
Paige vs AJ Lee
The Divas Championship belt is on the line and it will be an ugly battle between AJ Lee and Paige. Paige has been distracting AJ Lee non-stop, even causing her to suffer a whiplash injury. AJ Lee should get her revenge and win the match.
Rusev vs Jack Swagger
Jack Swagger, the Real American, is pitted to win this one even though Rusev is motivated to get a win after his first loss ever.
Bryan Wyatt vs Chris Jericho
Although Chris Jericho did win their first match, Bryan Wyatt might take this match and push for a possible round 3 between the two. Erick Rown and Luke Harper are banned from ringside so it will be interesting to see Wyatt win on his own, or would he really?
Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz
The battle of the Intercontinental Championship belt between Ziggler and The Miz, the latter might come out the winner. IBT says that it's hard to think that Ziggler will hold the franchise no. 2 title.
