In the next episode of "Will & Grace," Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes) has an unexpected meeting with his grandson, Skip (Jet Jurgensmeyer).

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Grandpa Jack" was released just recently and showed a small kid at the door of Will Truman's (Eric McCormack) apartment. "I'm looking for Jack McFarland," the young boy says. McFarland who is at the door in his robe gets caught by surprise. He initially does not believe that the boy is his grandson so he asks the kid who he is again. "I'm your grandson!" Skip shouts in McFarland's ear. Truman, Karen Walker (Megan Mullally), and Grace Adler (Debra Messing) are in the apartment too and stand in amazement at the new revelation.

"Can I call you Grandpa?" the young boy asks McFaralnd who is now looking a bit nervous. Truman tells Skip in a sarcastic way, "Oh my god, you have to." It remains to be seen how McFarland will deal with this new chapter in his life as a grandparent. Nevertheless, it is expected that this will bring in a lot of laughs and awkward scenarios.

In the last episode, Adler got a cancer scare when she had a check-up at her doctor's office. Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with her but her emergency contact Leo Markus (Harry Connick Jr.) went to the hospital just the same to check up on her. Adler felt awkward about Markus visiting her because he was her ex-husband. They got into an argument about each other's shortcomings in their past relationship.

Nevertheless, they forgave each other at the end and agreed to move on no matter what happened. It remains to be seen if Markus will appear again in future episodes.

"Will & Grace" season 9 episode 4 will return on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
