Things are becoming clearer now on what happened to the planned "Star Wars" title that was being developed by Visceral Games. It seems that it would've been something of a video game had Electronic Arts not shut down the studio.

According to Kotaku, Visceral's "Star Wars" game was forming to become what everyone was expecting it to be. Given that Amy Hennig had joined the team and was heading the project, the video game was shaping up to be like "Uncharted" but set in the "Star Wars" universe.

The lead character was said to be named Dodger, a more damaged version of Han Solo, which means he would have been a rascal with a lot of personal issues as excess baggage. This would also have meant that Dodger was going be the kind of guy with a lot of witty dialogue, which Hennig is good at writing after spending a lot of years developing "Uncharted" protagonist Nathan Drake.

Other characters set to be created for the video game include Dodger's most trusted ally, a gunslinger named Robie; the daughter of the mob boss named Oona; and Bruck, someone who would stand as the group's mentor.

The plot of the video game was said to highlight the aftereffects of Alderaan's destruction and would tell the individual stories of criminals mixed with action-packed heists.

The video game is said to between the events of "Star Wars: A New Hope" and "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back." This timeline provides more political drama and great tension between the Empire and their Rebel counterparts in that period, which makes for a great video game setting.

From all the details that are coming out, it seems like the Visceral's "Star Wars" game was very promising with an awesome premise and a lot of twists and turns.
