USA vs Mexico takes place on Tuesday night in a massive clash in the CONCACAF World Cup 2014 qualifying group. Neither team will want to lose this game as they attempt to confirm their place in Brazil next year.

The USA are in a very good position to qualify despite losing last Friday. If they can win tonight, and Panama either draw or lose then the USA are guaranteed a spot in the top three of the CONCACAF group and will be in Brazil next year for the World Cup 2014.
Mexico meanwhile have struggled throughout the campaign and it is now do or die time for them. They lay in fourth position at the moment, and are not in an automatic qualifying spot. If they finish fourth they would go into a playoff against New Zealand for a place in Brazil next year.
Following their loss last Friday they are now just a point ahead of fifth place and if they lose again tonight they could lose their grip entirely with just a few games to go in qualifying.
Mexico has struggled to score goals and win games and fired their coach after an embarrassing loss to Honduras at home. They will need to get things right and fix things fast if they are to make the World Cup next year and they cannot afford to lose again tonight.
