The U.S. Open 2013 tournament at Merion Golf Club will continue on Saturday as 68 players started the day looking to quickly finish their Second Round.
The weather hit tournament has meant more and more action being packed into each day and Saturday will be no different with dozens starting the day still looking to finish off the Second Round before the cut is determined.
Saturday afternoon will see the Third Round get underway, and will feature Tiger Woods being paired with Rory McIlroy for the third straight day.
In total 73 players made it through to the final two rounds at the Merion Golf Club.
To make sure organizers are set for Sunday's primetime broadcast, the USGA will send Saturday's groups off in threesomes again on split tees, No. 1 and No. 11, at Merion's East Course.
The start of the third round and those tee times will begin at 12:15 p.m. ET.
Woods, McIlroy, and Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano will tee off as a threesome at 1.56 p.m. ET.
Meanwhile, Phil Mickelson and Billy Horschel, will be joined by Luke Donald and go off No. 1 in the final group of the day at 2:40 p.m. ET
NBC will broadcast all the action all day long, starting at noon and will run until 7:30 p.m. ET or the conclusion of play.
