UFC 194 rumors: Will Conor McGregor be ready to deal with the pressure?

Conor McGregor will unlikely admit he is feeling any sort of pressure as he finally goes up against Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion Jose Aldo at the Madison Square Garden in Las Vegas this weekend.

All eyes will be on the brash Irisman though, considering the he and former UFC women's bantamweight champion are the two top UFC names being given a big push as mentioned via USA Today.

But at the back of his mind McGregor would be wise that things change once he enters the Octagon.

Though he and Rousey are different, it is apparent that McGregor loves to talk. Probably too much that the more he talks and makes promises, the more pressure he puts on his shoulders.

Despite the comparison, McGregor says that he and Rousey are two different persons. And though both have had their share of attention, he believes that he can fare well and handle the task at hand.

McGregor, of course, rose to fame when he came out victorious against Chad Mendes for UFC 198. The original skit was to have him face Aldo, although an injury prevented that from happening. In a sense, it is a reboot of sorts with McGregor needing to back up his claims that Aldo's reign will end this weekend.

Right now, there are some who believe that Aldo's experience could prove to be too much for The Notorious plus the fact that the Brazilian champion intends to silence McGregor at least for one night.

On the other side, there are those who feel that it is the time of McGregor to take his place in line of UFC greats. Seeing that he has been training immensely, ("Rocky" style as he claims) the day of reckoning is finally here.

Will the Notorious come out with flying colors or will he be brought back down to earth hard? The answer to that is just hours away, as Aldo vs. McGregor is set to happen on Saturday, Dec. 12, starting at 10 p.m. EST.
