"The Originals" season 5's production has officially concluded and it looks like things are going to end the way fans want it to. The cast had their final dinner together on Tuesday, Dec. 12, and gave fans a glimpse of their last get-together on Instagram.

Christina Marie Moses, who plays the role of Keelin, shared a snap of their dinner, featuring Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Daniel Gillies (Elijah), Danielle Rose Russell (Hope) and Claire Holt (Rebekah). Riley Voelkel (Freya), Charles Michael Davis (Marcel) and Nathaniel Buzolic (Kol) can also be seen in the picture.

"Thanks for the laughs the tears the silly the weird and for welcoming me into your world," Moses captioned the picture. She also said that it has been fun working with the cast.

"The Originals" season 5's last filming scenes involved Klaus and Elijah. They were said to be sitting on a bench in the French Quarter, just like the backdoor pilot which aired during "The Vampire Diaries" season 4. They also had to fly to New Orleans for the final sequences. They were with Candice King (Caroline), along with the executive producer Julie Plec. Holt was also said to be there.

With that, "The Originals" season 5 is expected to end with Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah. As the three siblings will be seen together, there is a big possibility that they have solved the Hollow curse that has kept them separated.

So, the Mikaelson family might have found a way to cure themselves. Also, Caroline seems to be with them in the end. Hence, the finale that the "Klaroline" fans have been rooting for might actually happen. However, fans should take these assumptions with a grain of salt as it is not yet confirmed if this will be "The Originals" season 5's ending. It could have just been the final scene filmed.

The CW has yet to announce the "The Originals" season 5's official release date, but it is expected to be out in the spring of 2018.
