"The Mentalist" season 7 will be the final season of the series. The creators of the TV show are working hard to give the well-loved series the ending it deserves.
Viewers are all lucky to have Tim Kang (Agent Cho) document the journey of "The Mentalist" season 7. He has been actively providing updates via Twitter on what's happening behind-the-scenes. He willfully answers some fans' questions, too.
Last Sept. 23, a follower asked Kang when Season 7 will be released.
He answered, "Pretty sure sometime in January."
Could this really be the release date? That can be a big yes, because right now, the tweet has been removed from his account. Did he spoil it too much?
Moving on, Kang was also the first to announce that Season 7 will be the final season.
He tweeted, "This is our 7th and final season. Looking at the scripts now, it's so fun and such a great season!"
He truly seems ecstatic about the new season, seeing how consistent he is in updating fans and followers of the show. He has actually become one of the valid resources for spoilers and news about the last season.
And of course, the actor also revealed something about his character, Agent Cho.
He said, "Cho" might even smile every once in a while this season. HA!"
Well, that is something fans can look forward to.
Furthermore, season 7 will highlight the relationship of Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon. Everyone is rooting for them to end up together; but, just like any love story, they should overcome some obstacles, too.
According to TV Line spoilers, one obstacle is Lisbon's brothers, whom Jane will meet in the new season. The brothers will be played by Derek Phillips and Rob Belushi, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Other guest stars include Morena Baccarin and Dylan Baker. Fans will also see Josie Loren and Joe Adler in the final season of the series.
