'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay €” Part 1' movie plot: New trailer launched for Nov. 21 movie release

Who isn't rooting for Katniss Everdeen? Katniss, the Mockingjay, will return to the big screen in less than two months, and the movie will pick up right where it left of in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

It can be recalled that the last movie ended with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) breaking down the barrier surrounding the games. Sensing danger, Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and the rebels rescue Katniss from the game dome. But when Katniss wakes up, she looks for Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) immediately. She is told that the Capitol already got Peeta before they could rescue him, and Katniss was both enraged and devastated.

Fast forward to "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1," Katniss will be very busy as the Mockingjay. In the promo trailer, she says, "You will rescue Peeta at the earliest opportunity, or you will find another Mockingjay."

That line right there was a dead giveaway on what the plot for the upcoming movie will be, or at least one of the story arcs in the movie. Katniss and her team will spend time rescuing Peeta. Of course, Lionsgate will have more surprises for the movie goers. Consider the trailer as just a tease into the next adventure of Katniss Everdeen.

Meanwhile, Phillip Seymour Hoffman has an important role in the movie as Plutarch Heavensbee. His character looks like one of the enemies at first, but at the end of "Catching Fire," it was revealed that Heavensbee is actually helping the rebels.

Sadly, Hoffman passed away during the filming of "Mockingjay Part 1." He only had one week of filming left before he was found dead in his home. Nonetheless, he will still be a part of the movie, and the scenes he wasn't able to shoot will show him in CGI.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1" will be released on Nov. 21. The trailer for the movie is already out.
