'The Good Wife' season 6 spoilers: Will Cary go to jail and Alicia separate from her business partner?

"The Good Wife" Season 6 Episode 2 "Trust Issues" didn't reveal much, but it did show two important story arcs that will be seen throughout the season. The first is the arrest of Cary, played by Matt Czuchry; and second is Diane, played by Christine Baranski, deciding to leave the firm Lockhart/Gener.

At the end of the episode, Diane was seen joining Florrick/Agos firm, while Cary was being brought out of jail. This leaves viewers asking, what will happen in Episode 3?

Season 6 Episode 3 is entitled "Dear God" and in this episode, Cary will be back in jail and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) will have to decide if she will separate from her partner. After all, they've been together for 15 years already.

The official synopsis for "Dear God" reads:

"Cary's freedom lies in the hands of his pretrial service officer, Joy Grubick, as she interviews his colleagues to determine whether or not he should remain behind bars. Meanwhile, Alicia and Dean find themselves in unfamiliar territory when a client's case ends up in Christian Arbitration."

The promo for "Dear God" shows Grubick, the pretail officer, telling Cary, "Mr. Agos, you can't live life the way you used to. Or you will end up behind bars again."

However, Cary still shows confidence that Diane will get him out of that mess.

Czuchry shared to THR about the future of Cary in Season 6, saying, "Whether Cary is going to be in jail or out of jail I can't say, but I can say that that particular storyline is going to continue. You will learn more about Cary and Bishop's relationship. We will touch on a lot of different issues that come from that storyline. It is less about Cary being in jail and more about him having been arrested."

What lies ahead for Cary, Diane and Alicia is yet to be unveiled in Season 6. Meanwhile, viewers can enjoy watching "Dear God" with guest stars Gloria Steinem, Robert Sean Leonard and Linda Lavin.
