In the next episode of "The Flash," Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) gives The Flash a.k.a. Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) suit a number of new upgrades.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Mixed Signals" was recently released and showed Ramon calling Team Flash together to show them the newly-upgraded suit for Allen. He unveils the prototype hiding under a cloth and says to them, "Gather round class. I've built in protective armor, nano-liquid circuitry, full-spectrum scanning and a bunch of other big words." Allen, Iris West (Candice Patton), and her father Joe (Jesse L. Martin) appear impressed but slightly concerned.

Allen tests the suit which unfortunately encounters some problems. "Guys, the suit is freaking out!" he yells in his communication device. Iris and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) receive his distress call and tell him to take off the suit. "I can't get it off!" he tells them as he struggles with the prototype.

All of a sudden, his suit inflates with air just like a basketball. Joe gets surprised by this new upgrade and asks Ramon why that was needed. "It seemed like a smart idea at the time," Ramon tells West in a frustrated way.

In the last episode, Ramon, Iris, Joe, and Snow were able to bring back Allen from the Speed Force. He had to stay in that dimension in order to stabilize it and prevent its force from causing lightning storms in Central City. Ramon was able to create a device that would stabilize the Speed Force without any need for a speedster.

Allen escaped and got reunited with the team back at home. It was also a tearful reunion with Iris whom he was engaged with last season.

"The Flash" season 4 episode 2 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
