With Bethesda already finished with the "Fallout 4" roll-out, fans are wondering when the developer will move on to another project follow-up, particularly the next "The Elder Scrolls." However, the studio is mum about anything at the moment. Fans expect that the confirmed attendance of Bethesda at this year's E3 will give a hint at when to expect a new project like "The Elder Scrolls VI."

Bethesda has yet to come out with a list of its game announcements at the E3, but it is highly plausible that a tease of "The Elder Scrolls VI" will be among them. According to GamingBolt, Todd Howard, Bethesda game designer, producer, and director, has hinted that with "Fallout 4" finished, the company is already working on a number of big projects. The industry observer said that it is more likely that a new "The Elder Scrolls" is among them, seeing as the franchise is one of Bethesda's best-selling and long-running ones.

Neurogadget also seems to agree that Bethesda has something big to reveal at this year's E3, and it may be a tease of "The Elder Scrolls VI." The industry follower said that Bethesda is not in the habit of constantly appearing at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo and only confirms its attendance if it has a big project – such as a franchise follow-up – coming up.

However, since Bethesda is keeping silent on its E3 appearance, other than confirming their attendance, it is still not known if "The Elder Scrolls VI" will indeed be teased at the event, much less when Bethesda will release it. Current speculations say that with the franchise already keeping current with a rebranded "The Elder Scrolls Online," fans will need to wait a bit longer for another franchise installment. "The Elder Scrolls VI" is said to launch in 2017 at the earliest.
