Bethesda just recently released a trailer teasing a new character class for the "Morrowind" expansion of "The Elder Scrolls Online," which is set to be released in June.

The trailer introduces the Warden class. In a statement, Bethesda described this to be a nature warrior with "the versatility to act as a damage dealer, a healer, or protector (or any combination in between)." The press release also stated that the Warden will use nature-based magic. By developing the Animal Companions skill line, he/she is able to summon a War Bear, a Bull Netch, a Cliff Racer, Shalk Beetles, or Fletcher flies. On the other hand, developing the Green Balance skill line will allow the character to instantly call up plants that can heal. Finally, Winter's Embrace will allow the character to create ice-based shields and barriers.

According to Bethesda, this will be the first character in "The Elder Scrolls Online" that will allow players to fully customize according to the playstyle they are comfortable with. As such, those who play "The Elder Scrolls Online" are just as likely to see a Warden focused on healing as one who serves as a tank. Considering that "The Elder Scrolls" already allows players to build their characters according to their preference, it would be interesting to see just how customizable the Warden will turn out to be.

Aside from the introduction of the Warden, the "Morrowind" expansion will also include a new story featuring the warrior-poet Vivec. This will have about 30 hours worth of gameplay content. It also will include a new location, Vvardenfell. The expansion will also come with a new Player vs Player (PvP) mode, which allows three teams, with four players per team, to combat against each other.

The "Morrowind" expansion of "The Elder Scrolls Online" will launch on June 6. The game is playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
