In the next episode of the "The Big Bang Theory," Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and his wife Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) are bedridden and let their friend Penny Hofstadter (Kaley Cuoco) take care of their baby.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Proton Regeneration" was just released and showed Howard unfortunately sick in bed. "Where did you get a bell?" Bernadette asks him as she enters their bedroom. "App store," he says as he shakes his mobile phone which rings likes a bell. Apparently, he uses it to call Bernadette or anyone else if he needs anything because he is bedridden. However, it seems that because of Bernadette's exposure to Howard's sickness, she herself has contracted it and has to stay in bed too.

"I have some news," she tells Howard who thinks she is going to say that they will be having twins. However, it is likely that she will tell him that she is sick too. It is because of this that they are going to let have their friend Hofstadter take care of their baby in the meantime. It is seemingly going to be a challenging time for Hofstadter since she has no experience with babies. Nevertheless, it is expected that there are going to be plenty of laughs as she goes through this learning ordeal.

In the previous episode, Howard and Sheldon's fiancée Amy Fowler (Mayim Bialik) were spending a lot of time together on Fowler's project. This bothered Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) because he wanted Fowler to be there for him too. In the end, they both reached a compromise wherein they would find the time to be with each other more.

"The Big Bang Theory" will air on its new slot on Thursdays as season 11 episode 6 will premiere on Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
