The next episode of "Ten Days in the Valley" will see Jane looking back on the most decisive scene she wrote for her TV series.

The synopsis of the previous episode for season 1, titled "Day 7: Breaking the Story" discusses Jane (Kyra Sedgwick) and Bird's (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) revisit of the "Casita Raid" scene that could have triggered Lake's (Abigail Pniowsky) abduction. During the fifth episode, IBT reports that Jane was made aware by Gus (Francois Battiste) that the cops raided Casita. Jane was initially informed that the Armenians were the ones who raided the Latinos who owned Casita.

Jane was told by Gus that three people were killed during the raid. Gus explicitly told Jane not to use the information on the cop show she was running, but she never listened and used it anyway. Jane then learns later in the episode that Gus was hurt and had bruises on his face. Gus told Jane that the cops will stop her doing any means necessary, including punishing Gus.

Jane attempts to revise the story. However, the show's production would be behind if they follow Jane's requested to re-schedule. In the end, the network Jane is working for pushed through with the original story she has written. Jane was then unfortunately fired from her own show.

Promotional photos of episode seven of "Ten Days in the Valley" shows Jane and Bird visiting the set of the re-enacted "Casita Raid". The promotional photos show that the seventh episode will focus entirely on Jane and Bird piecing the details together.

After a month-long break in November, ABC has finally started releasing the remaining four episode of "Ten Days in the Valley" season 1. From their Sunday night airing, ABC has moved the show's schedule to Saturdays, at 9 p.m. EST.

"Ten Days in the Valley" season 1 episode 7 airs on Saturday, Dec. 23, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
