'Tekken 7' PS4 release date news: Title coming to Xbox One and PC later in 2016?

'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' Bandai Namco

It has been said that the upcoming ported "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4. However, new speculations suggest that the game will also come to the Xbox One and PC.

GearNuke reports that rumors have said that "Tekken 7" will also come out of its PlayStation exclusivity and will be released for the Xbox One and the PC. This is certainly not uncommon for the franchise. Although the previous "Tekken" games have been exclusive to the PlayStation console, "Tekken 6" game was released on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360.

WCCFTech notes that if the game will discontinue its exclusivity to Sony consoles, it can also be expected that Bandai Namco will broaden its range and may even release "Tekken 7" for the upcoming Nintendo NX system. While this is unconfirmed, Bandai Namco seems to be favoring Nintendo in recent times, as shown by the two conglomerates' collaboration with the "Super Smash Bros." for the 3DS and Wii U, as well as the "Pokken Tournament" spin-off game.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the game will make an appearance at the upcoming E3 2016. However, publisher Bandai Namco has yet to offer confirmation. Nonetheless, fans expect the publisher to include "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" to its list of E3 presentations since it is confirmed that Bandai Namco is readying a list of major game presentations like "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" and "One Piece: Burning Blood."

Fans are waiting for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" to drop on the PS4 since the game is practically a remastered version of its original arcade version. The console port will add new content and features to the game, such as Akuma from "Street Fighter."
