Switchfoot's Jon Foreman working on new solo project with music for every hour of the day

Jon Foreman will be releasing a new solo album called The Wonderlands.

Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman is working on another new solo project called The Wonderlands that will feature songs for every hour of the day.

Foreman posted a photo of some lyrics on top of a yellow pad on Facebook and captioned it, "My next solo project is called #TheWonderlands - I wanted to create a musical planet of 24 songs, one for every hour of the day. I am so excited to share this dream with you!"

He is also expected to go on a solo tour promoting The Wonderlands, according to The Land of Broken Hearts. Foreman will be playing a free event on April 19 at Lee University and then debut his new solo album at The Underground in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 24.

Foreman and the rest of Switchfoot are expected to tour the United States this year as they join NEEDTOBREATHE in their Tour De Compadres. Other musical acts expected to join are Drew Honeycomb, The Neighbors, and Colony House.

Switchfoot made this announcement in a YouTube video and band members read through a message in a bottle. "Hola friends! We would like to cordially invite you on a magical mystery tour of the United States of America. We consider you some of our best friends and that's what this tour is going to be about," they said.

The band narrated some of the things they intend to do during the tour, like wearing funny hats together and sharing their feelings. They also plan on "rockin' the young and old of this great nation in spirit and song" as well as trying out "every sport imaginable" such as Buzz Chicken and Underwater Basket Weaving with no scuba gear.

The band expressed their desire to go on lots of food trips by "dining in hole-in-the-wall places that we are aware of and ones that we will all discover together."
