Survivor and OTR present START SOMETHING...

|PIC1|Survivor Records was started eleven years ago in response to a move of God amongst youth in the UK. Thousands began gathering together in worship and many new songs flowed out as the Holy Spirit inspired a new wave of creativity. No one knew then that these songs would be sung right across the globe. They became anthems of a movement - the soundtrack of a generation seeking to express their love for Jesus.

As a record label, we've sought to ride this wave, identifying new and fresh worship music and making it available all around the world. Over the years we've had the privilege of releasing to you songs and sounds from the likes of Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Brenton Brown, Martyn Layzell, Onehundredhours, Yfriday, Johnny Parks, Ben Cantelon, David Gate, Simon Brading, Nick Herbert, Vicky Beeching, Lex Buckley, Tree63 plus many other worship leaders and gatherings. And the wave just keeps on growing. Our 'Emerge' series ensures the continual introduction of new worship leaders and a few years ago we entered into a distribution partnership with Sixsteps Records - bringing the likes of Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band and the Passion College movement into our family too.

In 2003 Survivor developed the label OTR with a view to support bands and artists who are reaching out beyond the walls of the church, mainly ministering in schools, clubs, prisons, communities, pre-alpha and evangelistic events as well as touring throughout the UK and Europe. The OTR family includes: The 29th Chapter, LZ7, blush, Watchman and GreenJade. Styles vary from Hip Hop, Rock, Dancehall, R&B and Pop. We are proud to present some of the UK's finest!

We are excited about the Pentecost Festival and all that Share Jesus International is doing. Our full support is with them as they enter into this new adventure and bring the greatest message to the city of London. During the festival weekend Survivor and OTR will be hosting one of the Big 10 venues.

On the Saturday evening Survivor and OTR present Start Something, a dynamic music event combing Worship, Rock, Hip Hop and Pop. The evening will include worship from Ben Cantelon and Onehundredhours. Ben is the Worship Director at Soul Survivor Watford and leads worship at the annual summer festivals as well as Soul Survivor events around the world. Onehundredhours bring a mix of hope, faith and rock n roll with a heart for justice. The night will also include inspiring and phenomenal performances from The 29th Chapter, bringing some of the freshest Hip Hop from the UK as well as LZ7, an explosive combination of Rock/Hip Hop with a show not to be missed. Our desire is to see people enter into a time of worship, to be encouraged, inspired, uplifted and refreshed.

During the day Survivor and OTR will be partnering with The Regent Hall, Salvation Army as they hold an Open House with music, theatre, children's activities and a chance to hear from some of Survivor Book's authors.
