On the next episode of "Supergirl" season 3, fans can expect to see the intensifying hatred of mob leader Morgan Edge, played by Adrian Pasdar, toward Lena Luthor, played by Katie McGrath.

The synopsis for episode 12 season 3 states that Morgan will barely survive an attack that almost takes his life. Naturally, the mob boss is angered, and has very strong suspicions that Lena is behind the assassination attempt. He will appear to be very sure of his suspicions and will vow to destroy Lena once and for all. Morgan contacts Lena and threatens her life, and being very furious, he does not listen to Lena's attempt to reason with him.

It is safe to assume that Lena is more than capable of defending herself from any attempts that the mob boss makes on her life, given that she has a lot of resources and advanced weaponry from her family's company. However, Lena becomes concerned that any act of retaliation or measures that she might take might turn her into an evil person -- then steps in Kara, played by Melissa Benoist, to provide some perspective on the troubled Lena.

In the trailer for episode 12, Morgan is clearly seen escaping what seems to be a kidnapping, as he jumps out of the trunk of a moving vehicle. This implies that he escaped from the attempt at his abduction. Additionally, an unknown man with a gun is also seen attacking James, played by Mehcad Brooks, and Kara is shown to be flying a poisoned Lena to save her life. If that were not enough, armed men come to Lena's corporate event to wreak havoc with guns.

Fortunately, by the end of the trailer, Mon El, played by Chris Wood, and Supergirl come to the rescue along with Guardian, played by James Olsen. Perhaps the trio would be more than sufficient in defusing the armed attack on L-Corp.

"Supergirl" season 3 episode 12, titled "For Good," airs on Monday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
