Sunday Night Football live stream: Watch online free Cowboys vs Eagles [NBC start time, schedule]

Sunday Night Football takes place tonight with the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in what is in effect a one game playoff to win the NFC East and claim a spot in the postseason.

Today's big game between the Eagles and the Cowboys will start at 8.30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the NBC network. Alternatively the game is also available to watch online through live stream – free for subscribers to the Direct TV NFL Sunday Ticket – via the link provided below.

At the start of the season not many would have predicted this game would be of such importance to the NFC East and the postseason schedule as it has turned out to be.

In 2012 these two teams finished third and fourth in the division, but the NFC East has almost turned on its head in just 12 months, and now the Eagles and the Cowboys are fighting it out on the last day of the regular season to claim the division and snatch a postseason spot.

With Tony Romo ruled out of today's huge match up, the quarterback face off will be between Nick Foles against Kyle Orton. Both players were clear backups at the start of the season, but since then both Michael Vick and Tony Romo have been taken out of the equation, making this an unpredictable and extremely exciting encounter.

These two teams may not be the best football playing teams in the NFL by a long chalk, but this match up promises to be an exciting and breathtaking crunch game, and no serious NFL fan will want to miss it.

The Eagles against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football will start at 8.30 p.m. EST and can be watched online by clicking here.
