Strictly Come Dancing line up 2014 rumours: Will Thom Evans, Michelle Keegan and Joey Essex strut their stuff on the Strictly dancefloor?

Thom Evans

Kelly Brook's ex Thom Evans is rumoured to be in the line-up for the next season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Reports are that the BBC is looking for a handsome guy to bring in female viewers for the twelfth series.

In past years, Harry Judd, Louis Smith and Ben Cohen have all gone down well with the ladies and producers are reportedly hoping another heartthrob will get women picking up the phone to vote.

Rugby player Evans was at one time engaged to former contestant Kelly Brook, who competed in the show back in 2007.

One insider told The Sun he had been approached last year but turned it down because he was in a relationship with US actress Jessica Lowndes.

Now that he's single, there's a good chance he could be in this year's line up.

"It's different this year after the couple split in October," the source told The Sun.  "Thom looks likely to sign in the next few weeks."

Michelle Keegan has been linked to the show but ruled out appearing on it last month.

Welsh footballer Craig Bellamy has also reportedly said thanks but no thanks as he works to get his UEFA pro-licence with a view to becoming a future manager.

The Mirror has suggested Joey Essex would make a great contestant.  He does have a love for reality TV, being a TOWIE favourite and a hugely popular contestant on last year's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

But it's all just rumours at the moment so we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out who'll be blitzing the dancefloor this winter.
