'The Sims 4' DLC updates: game to get pet expansion pack?

"Get to Work" DLC, the new expansion for "The Sims 4," has been out for barely a month but hardcore fans of the life sim game are already clamoring for new content. There have been speculations fuelled by recent moves by game publisher Electronic Arts that are making fans quite excited about the upcoming expansion.

It seems that the upcoming DLC will be all about pets.

Last March, EA sent out a survey asking fans on possible new items, along with probable new content for the next "The Sims" DLC. In addition, most of the items on the survey touch on pets, reports popular fan website SimsVIP

Furthermore, a user on fansite Sims4Forum posted images and what they call Easter eggs that hint at the upcoming expansion. Although still unclear if the new content will come as either a support game pack or a new expansion altogether, user Aymen surmises that since most of the new items for the "Get to Work" expansion pack mentions pets or animals at one time or another, the developers might already be dropping clues that intimate on the next "The Sims 4" content.

With the launch of "The Sims 4" off to a rocky start last year, EA needs to spruce up the title even more, to keep fans happy and dispel notions about the latest Sim escapade being touted as the most disappointing game of 2014. The company deemed it necessary to produce more content to pacify hardcore fans, and came out with "Outdoor Retreat" and "Get to Work." These two expansions got the game going and turned things around, and fans hope that with the latest move by EA, checking out feedback and letting fans get in their two cents' worth for the next content, the upcoming "The Sims 4" expansion will be much more exciting and catchy.
