Shakira may be leaving the judging panel of The Voice after just one season, according to Deadline.

The show, which is in its fourth season, will not see the return of the singer, who had given birth to her first child with boyfriend Gerard Pique in January 22. The reason for her departure may be because she is juggling with her career and life as a mother to baby Milan.

While The Voice may not see the return of the Colombian born singer, former judge Christina Aguilera is set to make a comeback.

Aguilera will reportedly get a big pay raise when she returns to the fifth season of the show this fall. The Wrap reports that she could receive a whopping $17 million for her return, although other news agencies are reporting $12 million. Aguilera temporarily left the show for season so to focus on her tour and promote her latest album "Lotus."

Shakira had already hinted that she would only be on the show for one season

"Everybody can't coach for life because when you have people with current recording in the game, this is not their job," said producer Mark Burnett, according to Fox News. "Their job is their fans and making music and being live, and so we knew from the beginning that this would happen, and we've had six coaches. They all have another life and their schedules."

However, Burnett still held out hope that Shakira may return for another season on the show in the future.
