The action-adventure maritime game "Sea of Thieves" is yet to come out, but with all the released gameplay trailers, fans just cannot help but expect a lot of it. Recently, an hour-long gameplay showed how gamers will have to cross the seas in the face of the many adversities they will have to face.

Rare LTD, developers of the game, released a series of gameplay videos with the game played by its own developers. This week's clip was about how to man a ship with a crew so they can all progress through the seas. As any pirate would, they will embark on treasure hunts, which definitely would not be an easy task.

As a part of the crew, each member would have to do specific tasks from navigation and manning the helm to firing cannons and strategizing a plan of attack. Needless to say, when the game comes out, it will definitely require a lot of interaction with other players. The tasks need to be done correctly, as well as with the proper timing, to avoid any unwanted scenarios.

In the gameplay, when they got hit, retention designer Josh Mitchell was thrown off-board while he was trying to fire a cannon. The rest of the crew had to adapt to both: firing back in retaliation and saving Mitchell. Fans can see this within the first few minutes of the gameplay itself. Most of the rest of the gameplay video required a lot of thinking of where to go.

The alpha version for "Sea of Thieves," which allowed players to try the game out, has also just recently ended. There were surprisingly a lot of positive feedback for the game. Unfortunately, although they are having a closed beta, it will only be available to players who have also been in the alpha version. Nevertheless, "Sea of Thieves" will be out within 2018.
