'Scream Queens' season 2 news: Possible plot includes Chanel's survival, more Melanie Dorkus

"Scream Queens" season 2 is still an uncertainty but many say the black horror comedy begs for another season. The identity of the Red Devil Killer may have been revealed, but there are still some questions left to be answered.

"Scream Queens" finally uncovered the mystery that it's been building up the whole season 1. While it's satisfying to get to know who wreaked havoc amongst the Kappa Kappa Tau sisters and the whole Wallace University, some questions that are in dire need of answers have surfaced.

Bustle, in particle, posted a few that should have resolutions as soon as season 2 premieres.

One of which revolves around that cliffhanger season ender. Who exactly was that Red Devil attacking the "original" Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts) at the asylum? Is Hester Ulrich (Lea Michele) back to killing her former sisters? Or is someone else trying to emulate her work, much like a copycat murderer?

The last is not an impossibility. After all, actress Lea Michele and the "Scream Queens" creator Ryan Murphy have already hinted that it might happen.

Earlier this month, Michele told Entertainment Tonight that Murphy let her in on some plot points and the likelihood of a sophomore season. Murphy also said the same thing at the New York City Fan Fright Fest in October.

Further, if it's a mystery who the "new" Red Devil is, fans are also wondering whether or not Chanel survived that attack. The two-hour final episode cut off right when Chanel woke up to the Red Devil.

Another Red Devil victim that everyone is probably interested in getting more of is Melannie Dorkus (Brianne Howey). She may have survived the spring attack, but what happened to her next?

"Scream Queens" has not been renewed for season 2 yet. Stay tuned for updates.
