In the previous episode, "Adventures in Babysitting," Mellie decided to stop working as she tried to figure out what would happen next after the plane, which was boarded by President Rashad, exploded. As he is believed to be dead, the young girl Quinn tried hard to save maybe also departed. Additionally, Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) is expected to be back to Vermont to save Olivia (Kerry Washington). Can he save Liv from the misery she is into now that she seems gone at this point?
