Speculations suggest that Samsung is up for major product launches at the start of the IFA 2016, and the announcements include the new slate flagship, the Galaxy Tab S3.

According to GSM Arena, Samsung is readying a major press event for its flagship releases at the upcoming IFA in Berlin. The launch is supposed to be for the full product lines of the South Korea-based tech giant. Aside from the much-awaited Galaxy Note 7 for its smartphone division, Samsung is also rumored to come out with a new slate flagship, the Galaxy Tab S3.

While Samsung has yet to confirm its presentation lineup at the annual trade show, observers agree that a new flagship tablet may be one of the upcoming product launches. While the current-gen Galaxy Tab S2 has been updated earlier this year, its original roll out was in July last year. A September reveal for a new slate is then highly likely, since Samsung is known to update its lineups with at least a year's worth of cycle.

However, although it is only about a month now before the rumored September launch, not much is known about the Galaxy Tab S3, as there are no supposed leaks or sightings of the device aside from supposed press renders. Fans can expect, though, that the new top-tier Galaxy Tab offering will have tweaks and improvements over its predecessor. The new Galaxy Tab S3 is anticipated to be a step-up version of the recently-updated Galaxy Tab S2.

Meanwhile, aside from the Galaxy Tab S3 and the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is also rumored to come out with other product flagships, like a new notebook, and the step-up version for its wearable department, the Gear S3. Reportedly, the tech giant may also choose to present an updated Gear VR headset at the event.
