Samsung Galaxy Note 6 specs, features rumor: Next Samsung Galaxy Note a hybrid device with 'phablet dock?'

The Galaxy Note 5. Rumor has it that one of the improvements to its follow-up is that it will have a phablet dock. Samsung Official

With Samsung already having unveiled its latest premium device in the Galaxy S7, fans are now turning their heads to another expected top-tier Samsung product – the next Galaxy Note. Rumors say that with the Galaxy Note 6, Samsung will again exceed fan expectations as the upcoming phablet will reportedly work as a hybrid, professional-level device.

According to Value Walk, the rumored specs sheet for the Galaxy Note 6 suggest that Samsung plans to incorporate both entertainment and work-centric features into the new phablet. The upcoming flagship will reportedly have a phablet dock accessory, where, when used, the Galaxy Note 6 will work as the dock's CPU, making the entire set-up a working hybrid laptop.

The industry follower stated that the dock will have dual OS features that when the Galaxy Note 6 is docked, the "laptop" will run Android. It is said that Samsung already filed a patent for this feature last year.

Meanwhile, other purported specs support the "hybrid set-up" claim. Reportedly, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will have a massive 6GB RAM to complement a new Snapdragon 820 processor. It is also speculated that like the Galaxy S7, the Galaxy Note 6 will also have an Exynos 8890 variant.

Another hint that the Galaxy Note 6 may come out with cutting-edge features is with Samsung's announcement of a 256GB memory chip. While the South Korea-based tech giant has not directly stated that the new chipset will be for the upcoming Galaxy Note, the assembly itself is aimed for top-tier mobile devices. Having a 256GB internal storage option for the Galaxy Note 6 is a plausible one, given that the previous Galaxy Note iterations have been tagged by Samsung as top-tier smartphones.

Other rumored specs of the Galaxy Note 6 include a pressure-sensitive display to optimize the S-pen attachment, as well as a 12MP BRITECELL camera.
