While Samsung is still enjoying the recent success of its latest flagship offering the Galaxy S7 lineup, some fans are already looking forward to the tech giant's next flagship project. While remaining unconfirmed at this point, speculations have already started on the possible specs sheet and features of the upcoming Galaxy Note 6.

A recent supposed leak detailed by TechTimes shows the upcoming flagship is codenamed "Grace". While Samsung has yet to confirm the leak, having an internal tag is significant, since it clearly shows the development for the Galaxy Note 6 is steadily progressing, and chances are high that the new lineup will be revealed soon.

Meanwhile, the same supposed leaked document also lists what are alleged to be the different carrier models for the new Galaxy Note 6. If proven to be true, the list is also significant as it shows a marked improvement for the next Samsung flagships. The alleged list details the Galaxy Note 6 as having a model number of SM-N930, and the model number remains the same for both carrier- and region-specific models. This means that firmware and software updates for the Galaxy Note 6 will be much quicker, as there will already be a template on the unlocked version, and tweaking it to suit each carrier-locked model will be much simpler. This translates to much earlier and faster update releases for Samsung and the different carriers.

While Samsung has yet to provide some general details about the upcoming Galaxy Note 6, the rumors are steadily building up the device to be a monster of a phablet. According to Android Community, rumors include a newer Snapdragon 823 chipset paired with at least 6 GB of RAM, as well as having a larger dimension than the Galaxy Note 5's 5.7-inch display. There are also speculations that the Galaxy Note 6 will feature USB Type-C ports for a slimmer profile, as well as IP68 rating.
