Samsung Galaxy C9 release date, specs, features rumors: Supposed leak confirms 6.0-inch display

Aside from readying its next flagship, Samsung is also actively adding to its mid- and above-average lineups. The latest to be seen online is the rumored Galaxy C9.

According to the supposed leaks, Samsung will be making the Galaxy C9 an above-average phablet. SamMobile reports that as per a leaked import tracker Zauba listing, the upcoming iteration will feature a 6.0-inch display. The industry follower believes that the latest leak already shows the final version of the device since previous leaks only listed a 5.7-inch screen for the Samsung Galaxy C9. The early versions may have been prototypes for testing the inside specs of the unit.

In addition, the Zauba listing also reflected a $225 price tag. However, even if the price has been listed for the "final version" of the device, it is highly unlikely that the Galaxy C9 will come out below the $300-range. The phablet's closest iteration in the series, the Galaxy C7, is currently available for $280.

As to when can fans expect the phablet, it is said that the Samsung Galaxy C9 will launch as a late 2016 release, either next month or in November at the latest. Meanwhile, not much is known about the specs and features of the device. Looking at the lineup, observers expect the Galaxy C9 to be an above-average phablet, with a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED display and full HD resolution.

If the phablet will also be closely similar to the Galaxy C7, fans can expect a Snapdragon 625 chipset, paired with 4 GB of RAM. It will also have an all-metal unibody design, as well as lineup features such as a fingerprint sensor, expandable storage via microSD, dual-SIM option, and 3,300 mAh battery. As a recent lineup series, Samsung is also expected to feature NFC support for Samsung Pay.
